Lower Fair: April 13, 2012 (All project paperwork due February 21, 2012)
Mississippi State University’s Bagley College of Engineering proudly serves as the host of the Region V Mississippi Science and Engineering Fair. There are 7 MSEF Regions in Mississippi. Region V covers 16 counties including: Attala, Carroll, Choctaw, Clay, Kemper, Lauderdale, Leake, Lowndes, Montgomery, Neshoba, Newton, Noxubee, Oktibbeha, Scott, Webster, and Winston Counties. This includes all schools K-12. The competition occurs on two levels: Upper Fair (grades 6-12)* and Lower Fair (grades K-5). Every year, more than 1200 students participate in the regional fair representing their schools and their communities.
*Only grades 7-12 are eligible to progress to the State Level competition
